FAQ: Moving from Wavy to Salonized

Is it mandatory for me to Migrate?

Yes. Wavy is shutting down on 1 September 2026. After that date, Wavy will switch to read-only mode — you'll no longer be able to manage appointments, process payments, or run your business on it. Migrating to Salonized is the only way to keep a fully working system.

When do I need to move?

The hard deadline is 1 September 2026. We recommend starting early – you'll get a 30-day free trial to explore Salonized at your own pace before committing. The sooner you start, the more time you have to get comfortable! And remember, our team is here to help!

What is Salonized?

Salonized is the direct successor to Wavy: a full salon management platform built by Treatwell. It covers the same core features: calendar, point of sale, client management, and marketing tools. What will Salonized cost me?

Your plan can be based on what you use in Wavy today:

Annual plans get a 10% discount. Additional employees cost €5–€7.50/month; additional locations cost an additional fee too and depends on the plan you choose.

I have a preferential/discounted rate on Wavy. Will that carry over?

We understand this is an important question for long-standing partners. Our team is currently working out the details for partners with special pricing arrangements. Please reach out to us if you have any specific requests, we are here to talk.

I pay for Wavy annually. What happens to my prepaid subscription?

If you have a prepaid annual Wavy subscription, your contract will be terminated on 1 September 2026 and the unused portion will be refunded.

I have a live Website. Can I keep it?

Yes. If you have a website live and running, you can keep it if you subscribe to Salonized. The costs of the website are €19 per month on top of the base subscription fee as stated above - including a subdomain and unlimited change request.

What happens to my data?

Your data — clients, appointments, services, employees — can be migrated from Wavy to Salonized. Migration is a one-time process that you initiate yourself from within Salonized. Your Wavy account stays accessible in read-only mode after migration, so nothing is lost.

Do I have to decide right now?

No. You can start your free trial, explore Salonized, and migrate your data whenever you're ready — as long as it's before 1 September 2026. You're not billed until you actively start a Salonized subscription.

What if I don't want to migrate?

We would love for you to stay and try Salonized, but you could also decide to cancel your Wavy subscription yourself.. If you have a prepaid annual Wavy subscription, the unused portion will be refunded. This will happen from the 1st of September, regardless of what you decide.

I use a Point of Sale/Register in Wavy. Will Salonized also be NF-525 certified?

Salonized is in the process of getting certified by LNE, scheduled for completion in September 2026. Even though less widely known, an LNE certification serves the same purpose as an NF-525 license in terms of fiscal compliance. Your existing NF-525 archives will remain accessible through Wavy.

With Salonized, you will have access to a legal, stable, and robust point of sale software and a state-of-the-art payment solution called “Salonized Pay”, offering offline and online payment solutions.

I use service packages in Wavy. Will those be available in Salonized?

Service packages are not yet available in Salonized, but they are on the roadmap. We'll communicate as soon as there's a launch date. Before then, service packages can be migrated but will show up as single/simple services in Salonized.

How do I get started?

We will gradually start this process in early June. From then onwards, look for the migration banner in your Wavy account, or wait for an invitation email from our team. Clicking "Try Salonized" will create your account instantly and kick off your free trial.
