This article contains a step-by-step plan for adding the booking widget to your website.
Here's what you can expect for the widget:
You get a central "booking button" that is visible on every page
The booking button opens the new online appointment widget
You can add descriptions for services (in the admin)
You show an overview of the chosen treatment(s) and date for confirming the appointment (with a summary)
Choose to show or hide the prices and duration
Once you are in the beta group, you will find the code for the new booking widget here (via the Settings button on the left bottom > Online bookings).
Step 1: adjust the settings for your booking widget
Go to this link (in Salonized via Settings > Online bookings > Style and sharing) and adjust the following settings if necessary:
Main color (use the standard color or choose a custom color)
Position of the button
Format of the button
Step 2: copy the code (the script)
At the bottom of the page you will find a piece of code. Copy this code in its entirety.
Step 3: Add the code to the footer of your website
Log in to your website management and add the copied code to the footer of your website. Publish the changes. The widget is now added!
Attention! If you want to change the color or the place of the appointment button, you can change the settings in your Salonized account. As soon as you have changed the main color, the format or the placement, the code (the script) will also change. This then has to be added to your website again.

Below is a step-by-step guide on how to add the widget to a WordPress website:
Login to your website
Click on 'Plugins' on the left side. If you can't find 'plugins', then probably someone else is managing your website and you don't have all the rights to edit everything on your site. Please contact your contact person/website administrator to ask them to add the button for you.
Then click on 'Add new' at the top
In the search bar, type 'Headers and Footers'
There you can click on 'Insert Headers and Footers'. You then click on 'install' and when it's ready you can click on 'active'.
Then go to the left side at 'settings' and click on 'Insert Headers and Footers'.
At the bottom you'll find 'scripts in Footer', go to that textbox
Copy the code from your Salonized account (go to Settings > Online bookings > Style and share)
And paste this code into the text box of 'scripts in Footer'
Then click on 'save
You will now see the new appointment button at the bottom right of your website. If you don't see it yet, please refresh the page. The customer can now use this button to make a booking.
