In today's digital landscape, cyberattacks have become increasingly frequent and sophisticated, making it even more crucial to secure your account effectively. Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your login process. This security system is designed to ensure that the person attempting to access an online account is indeed the authorised account holder. In this article, you will find out how the feature works, the different methods available to protect your account, and how to manage these settings.
How does two-step verification work?
In two-step verification, you will first need to enter your username and password as usual. Then, instead of gaining immediate access, you will need to provide one more piece of information.
You must enter a verification code in addition to your password every time you log in to your Salonized account.
You will need either a phone number or a verification app to receive the code.
This simple process ensures your account stays protected from security threats and password leaks.

What methods can I use for verification?
With the two-step verification, you will need to enter a unique code when logging in. You can receive the verification code in two ways:
Via SMS: You will receive a text message from Salonized containing a code. If you choose this option, we will ask you to share your phone number within your account.
Via Verification App: Download an authentication app to generate the code (we recommend using Google Authenticator). With this option, you do not need to add a phone number to your account.
