Automatic e-mails for no-shows

Read more about switching on this option, adjusting the email content and automatically sending a no-show email.

Updated over 9 months ago

The email reminders that are sent through Salonized are sent to reduce (and prevent) the amount of no-shows. Despite these reminders, a client might still not show up for an appointment. If there is a no-show it's possible to send an automatic email to that customer. In this article you'll learn how.

Switching on the automatic no-show email option

You can switch this on via Settings > Calendar Settings

Scroll down until you see "no-shows". This is where you switch on the automatic no-show email feature.

PS: don't forget to click on "Save" in the upper right corner.

How does this feature work?

When installing this feature you'll be asked if you want to send the customer an email in the case of a no-show.

This is how you flag a no-show in the agenda: click on the appointment in the agenda and then click on "no-show appointment" in the right part of the menu bar.

Now the appointment will be marked as a no-show appointment.

Now this notification will pop up:

Click "yes" to send an automatic email to that customer. The email will be sent directly.

Editing the content of the no-show email

You can choose and adjust the content of the no-show emails via messages > email templates > appointment change > no show

Don't forget to hit the "save" button after editing the text.

Don't hesitate to contact the Salonized team if you have any further questions.

You can always send us a message or call us during business hours.
