Stock management tracks how much of each product you have left. Here's how to turn it on, how to get an order suggestion based on your stock, and how to update your stock in bulk.
How do I turn on stock management for a product?
You turn on stock management when you create a new product or edit an existing one. Check the 'Manage stock order' box.
Three fields appear:
'Minimum stock'
'Maximum stock'
'Current stock'
Once current stock drops below minimum stock, you'll see that product flagged as low on stock.
How do I get an order suggestion based on my stock?
When you build a new stock order, you can add every product that's below its minimum stock automatically. The quantity suggested is your maximum stock minus your current stock; if you haven't set a maximum, the app uses minimum stock instead.
This only works for products that are already below their minimum stock.

How do I import a file with stock levels?
You can include stock directly in the import file, so you don't have to enter it per product afterwards:
'Stock' — the current amount
'Manage stock' — whether stock management is on for that product
'Minimum stock' and 'Maximum stock'
Click 'Import' at the top right of the 'Products' page.
Choose your csv or excel file and click 'Submit'.
Tell the app what each column contains, then click 'Submit' again.
How do I update stock for products I already have?
Download your product file first, from 'Settings' > 'Data export' > 'Products'. That file includes an ID column for every product, plus the stock columns.
Update only the stock columns and leave the rest of the file alone. Then import it again from 'Products' > 'Import'. Because the file carries each product's ID, the app updates your existing products instead of creating new ones.
