In Multi-Location you manage your products once, while the app keeps stock per location. So you change a price once and it applies everywhere straight away, while every location still has its own stock. This article covers how to add stock, change it, and check it out.
This article is about Multi-Location. There are two setups for running several locations, Multi-Location and Franchise, and they work very differently. Not sure yet which one fits you? Read Working with several locations first.
Where do you choose which location's stock you are looking at?
The location picker sits at the top right of the products page. It is usually already on the location you work at, but it is worth a glance before you change any stock: you always edit the stock of the location shown there.
How do you add a new product?
Every product is in your account once, with stock per location underneath it. You only need to keep stock for the locations where you actually sell it.
On a new product, switch Stock management on and fill in Current stock, Minimum stock and Maximum stock.

Please note: the stock you enter here applies only to the location selected at that moment. If you add the product from location A, that stock sits with location A and your other locations have none yet. Pick another location afterwards to set the stock there too.
How do you change stock?
Choose a category on the left first, and the products in it appear. Then open the menu at the end of the product's row to edit its stock.
Afterwards you can select a different location and update the stock there as well.
Which location does stock come off when you sell something?
The one you select in the register. Check out at location B and the stock comes off location B. That keeps every location's stock right, even when you work for several of them from one place.
If you do not sell a product at a location, you will still see it in that location's list, but its stock does nothing there.
What applies to every location at once?
Everything except stock: the price, the name, the EAN number, the article number and the category or supplier. You change those once and they apply to every location straight away.
