Do you run several locations that work as one business? With Multi-Location you manage them together in one account: one set of client records, one product list and one subscription, while the calendar, the register and your stock work per location. This article covers what exactly is shared, what stays separate, and how to add a location.
This article is about Multi-Location. There are two setups for running several locations, Multi-Location and Franchise, and they work very differently. Not sure yet which one fits you? Read Working with several locations first.
What is shared between locations, and what stays per location?
These records are central and identical for every location:
Clients
Products and their prices
Gift cards
Services and team members
These the app keeps per location:
Appointments, each carrying the location it takes place at
Stock per product
Invoices and financial reports
Online bookings, if you make the location bookable online
In your calendar and your reports you can filter on one location or view them all together. Reports and filters per location covers how that works.
How do you switch this on?
Contact our support team. We will convert your account and walk you through the settings that matter.
Please note: you will not see this feature in your account until we have switched it on for you. If you are looking for Locations in your settings and it is not there, that is why.
What does an extra location cost?
Every location you add beyond the first counts towards your monthly price. How much depends on your plan, and the screen warns you before you add one. The amount that applies to your account is in your subscription details. Ask our support team if you want to know it in advance.
How do you add a location?
Go to Settings > Locations and choose Create Location. Fill in that location's details as completely as you can, because the app uses these fields later in emails and on invoices.

Two names matter. The Internal Name is only visible to you, in the calendar and the timetable, to tell your locations apart. The Public Name is the one your client sees, for example in the booking widget. If you want clients to book here online, switch Bookable online on.
Will the right location appear in emails and on invoices?
Yes, and you need to set nothing up beyond the location's address details.
If you use the variables in your emails and invoices, then in Multi-Location the app fills in the location's details rather than your company's. That covers the name, the address, the phone number and the bank account. The email address stays your company's.
So your client always gets the address of the location their appointment is at. The invoice header works the same way.
If you would rather show one fixed business name and address everywhere, type those in and do not use the variables.
