Add a legal notice to your micro-site

Learn how you can add key legal information to your micro-site so that your customers can easily find it.

Updated over 9 months ago

As a website owner, it is important to share relevant legal information with your customers in a way that is easy to find and understand. The Salonized micro-site legal notice makes this easy!

The specific requirements for a legal notice will vary based on things like, the country your salon is based in and the nature of your website. For example, a website that is operated by a business or a professional is usually required to share additional information such as trade register details, VAT identification numbers, and legal statements (like Terms and Conditions and a Privacy Statement).

It is important to familiarise yourself with the legal requirements for your country and business type, and to keep your legal notice accurate and up to date. Please seek independent legal advice if you have questions about the specific requirements for your website.

How to add a legal notice to your Micro-site

  1. Navigate to the Micro-site settings page (Admin > Micro-site)

  2. Find the section called Legal notice

  3. Use the input field to add your legal notice

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save

If the Legal notice input field is blank, the legal notice isn't shown on your micro-site.

If the Legal notice input field contains content, the legal notice is shown on your micro-site.

How the legal notice looks on your Micro-site

Once you've added your legal notice in the micro-site settings area, a link to your legal notice will be visible at the bottom of your micro-site.

When the link is clicked, a new page is opened that displays your legal notice.
