Checking out appointments
You check out appointments with clients with ease. As soon as you complete a payment, Salonized automatically creates a receipt. You can print that receipt or email it to the client. Need an invoice for your bookkeeping? Issue one in a single click with Issue invoice (or Issue invoice and send to email it straight away). This keeps your sales records up to date per period, without having to deal with loose files. You'll find all your treatments and products in the register.
You can also save a sale as a draft first and continue with it later. As soon as a payment, gift card or prepaid card is attached, the sale is settled for good.
An accurate, auditable administration
Salonized currently keeps track of everything related to your sales administration. You can't register purchase invoices in your account; for that you'll need a separate accounting program or bookkeeper.
To meet legal requirements, completed receipts and invoices are final: they aren't simply edited or deleted. Need to correct something after all? Salonized records that as a separate, traceable entry:
If you change something on a sale that already has a receipt, a correction receipt follows.
If an invoice has already been issued, a credit invoice follows.
This keeps your administration balanced and auditable at all times, with every change neatly traceable. The same applies to refunds: these are recorded as a separate (negative) transaction. If the refund relates to an already-closed Cashup, it is booked into the Cashup that is currently open.
Opening and closing the day with the Cashup
With the Cashup you open the register in the morning, keep track of all transactions throughout the day, and close the register again at the end of the day. That gives you a clear, accurate overview of your till and cash flow every day. A closed Cashup is locked: the transactions in it are no longer changed, which keeps your administration reliable and compliant.
Through the register you also always have insight into your invoices and receipts. The invoices in your account, along with their details such as customer, invoice item(s) and payment method per invoice, can easily be downloaded as a csv or excel file. You do that in the data export function.
Emailing receipts
You don't need to buy a receipt printer to give clients a receipt. Of course, you can connect a receipt printer to Salonized if you already own one.
After settling, you easily send the receipt or invoice to the client by email.
