Treatwell integration: how does it work in Salonized?
Treatwell integration: how does it work in Salonized?
Updated over a week ago

In this article, we explain all the features of the new Treatwell integration to you. We also encourage you to read our general article about the new integration first and the starter guide.

Good to know: with this integration, you will not have access to Treatwell Connect. You cannot log in there but you will manage everything in Salonized. Read more below 👇

1. Managing Treatwell bookings from Salonized calendar

When a customer books an appointment through your Treatwell page, you will see this booking appear in your Salonized calendar. You can recognise a Treatwell booking by the TW logo in the booking (see image below).

Once you click on the booking, you will see the same information as for an appointment booked through the Salonized widget. You will see the date and time, the service booked, the employee linked to the appointment, the duration of the service, and customer information (name, email, appointment history, treatment reports, etc.).

From here you can also manage the appointment if needed: you can reschedule it, cancel it and perform other actions such as write a report, send a form or mark it as a no-show (don't forget to mark no-show appointments in the agenda, otherwise Treatwell still charges the commission).

❗️Note: you can only move or cancel the appointment as long as it hasn't taken place yet and the appointment is still in the future. If the appointment needs to be cancelled after the original time has started, you need to contact Salonized.

2. Treatwell appointment payment method

You can see if a Treatwell customer has already paid for the appointment online by opening the appointment overview in Salonized (so click on the appointment and check if the logo is green). You can recognise an online payment by a green Treatwell logo. Also, if you hover over this logo you will see a pop-up with a message saying the booking has been paid online.

If the logo is grey, that means the customer chose to pay in the salon and they still need to pay for the appointment.

Clicking 'more' will display whether the appointment has been paid or not:

You can also check out a Treatwell appointment, even if it was already paid for online, just to get the invoice in Salonized. This is done in the same way as for any other appointment, by clicking on 'Checkout'. In the checkout, you will also see whether the client has already paid online or if they still have to pay in the salon.

❗️Please note that right now the reporting is not optimal for Treatwell appointments as it doesn't take into account any commission or transaction costs that will be deducted from the invoice that you receive every 2 weeks from Treatwell.

3. Reviews

Good news, your Salonized reviews are automatically published to your Treatwell page to help you build up reviews quicker. You can also reply to the reviews and publish that reply to Treatwell as well.

💡Good to know: after publishing or receiving 10 reviews and 50 reviews on your Treatwell page, a boost is activated for 14 days. This makes you appear higher in the search results (temporarily)!

4. Your Treatwell Page

Once you're live on Treatwell via the integration, you can find the link to your Treatwell page by clicking on the 'tw' icon in the blue menu bar, you'll find it on that page.

At the moment we, the Salonized team, partially manage your page on Treatwell. This means that you can contact us (via the chat at the bottom right) to:

  • Change information on your page (photos, services, description)

  • Add new services to your Treatwell page

  • Let us know if you miss anything on your Treatwell page

Please refer to our Starter Guide to see what exact changes you can make yourself (address, company name, timetable, etc.) and for which ones you need our help.

5. Last-minute discounts

You can enable last-minute discounts via the Treatwell dashboard. This discount is then applied to the bookings that are made via the Salonized widget and via your Treatwell page.

Of course, you can choose the discount percentage you want to apply and the period in which you want to apply the last-minute discount.

6. Reports

If you go to 'Reports' in the blue menu bar, you will also see that information about your Treatwell bookings is added. This way, you can see what your revenue is through Treatwell and how many online payments are made through Treatwell.

Once again, please note that right now the reporting is not optimal for Treatwell appointments as it doesn't take into account any commission or transaction costs that will be deducted from the invoice that you receive every 2 weeks from Treatwell.

7. Paying commission

Every 2 weeks (around the 1st and 16th of every month), you will receive an invoice from Treatwell, and you will receive the actual payments a few days after. On this invoice you will be able to read how much commission and transaction fees you need to pay for and how much you receive in the end. If you have any in-depth questions about an invoice, please contact Treatwell directly:
