Cash Up

Open the cash register, close the cash register, and count the cash. This is how the Cash Up feature works in Salonized.

How does Cash Up work?

Manage your daily cash income with the Cash Up feature in Salonized.

A cash register closing allows you to open the cash register with an opening balance, keep track of transactions throughout the day, and close the cash register at the end of the day by performing a cash count.

All of this information can be found in a summary that is created each time the cash register is closed.

In the cash register, you will find three pages related to the cash register closing:

  • Daily Overview

  • Drawer

  • Cashups

Daily overview

Shows all transactions per day. So even if you are not going to use the day-end closing, you can see what is charged per day in the daily overview.

Drawer

Shows all transactions (of all payment methods) since the current checkout was opened. From this tab you can open the cash register and close it again at the end of the day.

Cash Up Summaries

Here you will find all cash register closings, also known as the cash register closing summaries. A cash register closing can cover a variable date range.

Please be aware!

  • Once the cash register has been closed, you can no longer change the date of invoices. The invoice date will therefore always be the current date. Payments can still be spread across multiple daily reports.

  • An invoice can have multiple payment dates.

  • A cash register closing cannot be edited afterwards.

  • You cannot create invoices for a date on which the cash register has already been closed.

  • Completing a cash register closing every day is the most common approach, but it can also be done once a week or over any other period.
