Guide to the Salonized Pay Verification Procedure

Learn how the Salonized Pay verification procedure works, and what steps you need to take to successfully complete it. ✅

In this help article we will guide you through the Salonized Pay verification process.

⚠️ Please note: ensure you have the following information ready before you start:

  • Chamber of Commerce number (KVK number)

  • European VAT number (unless you are exempt from VAT)

  • Passport, identity card, or driver's license

  • IBAN or a bank statement

Step 1: Add Your Business Details

Name and Country

  • This step is likely already filled out for you, as we have these details from your Salonized account.

  • Important: Ensure that the correct legal name of the business is entered — the name under which you are registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK).

Business Structure

  • Select the business structure that applies to your salon.

  • Choose whether the bank account where you want to receive payments is linked to the salon (The company I work for) or under your own name (My name).


Registration Details

  1. Enter the trade name that you want to use for registration.

    1. Is this the same as your company name? Then check the box: Same as the legal name of the company.

  2. Enter your Chamber of Commerce number*. A Chamber of Commerce number consists of 8 digits. Don't have it at hand? Click on 'Save and go to overview' to ensure you don't lose any information.

  3. Enter your European VAT number*. A VAT number consists of the country code (e.g., NL), 9 digits, the letter 'B', and a 2-digit control number.

* You can easily find your Chamber of Commerce number and European VAT number on one of your invoices or by logging in at the Chamber of Commerce.


Address

  1. Enter the address where your salon is registered in the search bar labeled 'Zoekadres'. Make sure not to forget the house number.

  2. If the correct address does not appear in the options? Then select 'Add manually' so you can type in the address yourself.

  3. Do you also have an Additional address because most of your salon's activities take place at a different location? Then select 'Yes, our main office is located at a different location.'

Overview

Check all the details and then click ‘Submit’.


Step 2: Add Signatories

⚠️ Please note that you must add at least 1 ‘Signatory’ here. Are you the owner of your salon? Then you are also the one who is authorised to sign for your salon. This means that you must also tick yourself as Signatory in this step.

Personal details

  1. Tick the appropriate boxes for the person you want to register. So don't forget to tick ‘Signatory’ here too, so you don't get stuck later in the process.

  2. Enter your First name, Last name, Date of birth and Country of residence.

Address

  1. Write down your personal address in the search bar called ‘Search address’. Make sure not to forget the house number.

  2. Does the correct address not appear in the options? Then select ‘Add manually’ so you can type the address yourself.

  3. Do you also have an Additional address because most of your salon's activities take place at another location? Then select ‘Yes, our head office is in another location.’

Verification Method

In this step, we ask you to verify your identity. We accept a passport, identity card or driving licence.

  1. Choose through which method you want to verify your identity. This can be via a QR code (instant verification) that allows you to photograph your ID and upload it directly, or you can choose to upload a scan of your ID.

  2. Follow the steps for the Verification Method you have chosen.

Overview

Check all the details and then click ‘Submit’.


Step 3: Add Disbursement Details

Verification Method

In this step, we ask you to verify your bank account. This way, we know to which bank account we can transfer your earnings via the ATM.

  1. First choose the country in which your bank account is registered.

  2. Choose verification method:

    1. Via your bank's mobile app or website.

    2. Upload a copy of a bank statement*.

  3. Follow the steps for the verification method you have chosen.

⚠️ Please note:

  • Do not upload pictures of bank cards or credit cards, they contain sensitive information.

  • Check that the bank account number provided is exactly the same as the bank account number on the document provided.

Overview

Check all the details and click ‘Submit’.

*Copy of bank statement must include:

  • Bank account number or IBAN

  • Copy not older than 12 months

  • Name of bank account holder

  • Bank indication:

    • Bank name, logo or format

  • We do not accept:

    • Handwritten documents

    • Photographs of bank/credit cards

    • Edited copies or documents


Step 4: Check and sign the official documentation

Sign service agreement

Read through the Terms and Conditions for payment processing from Adyen. Then select yourself as a signatory and tick the box that you have read and accept the terms and conditions.

PCI DSS questionnaire

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) are global requirements aimed at protecting cardholder data. Every company dealing with card payments must sign up to them. Read more here.

Read through the questionnaire. Then select yourself as a signatory and tick the box that you agree to comply with the above PCI DSS requirements.
