A note pins a reminder to one day at the top of your calendar — a client to call back about a colour correction, or a stock order to place before a fully-booked Saturday.
How do I put a note on a day in the diary?
Click the first row at the top of the calendar, above that day's appointments.
A window opens with three things to fill in: the note itself, the date it belongs on, and who it is for.
The note text is the only one you cannot leave empty. Finish with Save.
Can a note be for one person, or for the whole salon?
Either. Applies to sets it to the entire company or to one employee.
A tube colour order concerns everyone, so it goes to the whole salon. A client's colour formula concerns the stylist who mixes it, so it goes to that person — and choosing an employee means picking which one.
What if the note has to move to another day?
Drag it to the day you want.
A note sits on a single day and cannot be stretched across several, so a week of stock-taking is a note on each day rather than one long one.
A note for one employee can also be dragged to a different employee. A salon-wide note has no column to move between, so it only moves between days.
Click the note to open Edit note, where you can change the text, the day or who it is for — or delete it.
How do I tick a note off once it is done?
The dashboard collects the day's notes under Notes due today, each with a checkbox.
Ticking one records when it was completed, and the note turns green in the calendar. Until then it stays yellow, so an open reminder is visible across the whole day.
