Top Rated is Treatwell’s annual recognition of excellence, a seal of quality you can trust. It is designed for salons and professionals who consistently deliver a great experience. It is awarded based on real customer reviews and your booking performance. So, if your customers love what you do, you certainly stand a chance, whether you own a small business or run a busy salon.


What does ‘Top Rated’ actually mean?

Top Rated is more than just a label. It’s a trusted quality mark awarded annually to salons that consistently deliver exceptional service. The label remains visible on your Treatwell profile for an entire year, so customers can see immediately that you are among the best. It is based on real reviews and your performance on Treatwell. In short, it is an honest recognition of your daily top-tier service.

  • Consistency: not just one great week, but excellence throughout the entire year.


What are the benefits of Top Rated?

Salons that qualify for the Top Rated will receive:

  • A beautiful Top Rated label on their Treatwell profile.

  • A special Winners Pack to celebrate and show it off.

  • Extra visibility in the app and beyond: customers trust salons with the Top Rated label.


How do I qualify for Top Rated?

Top Rated is designed for salons that repeatedly deliver top performance on Treatwell (based on real data from real customers).

Whether you work alone or are part of a larger team, every Treatwell partner has a chance to earn the label every year, as long as customers are happy with the service.

We look at two things: quality and volume. Your salon must meet these two criteria:

  1. A minimum number of reviews.

  2. A minimum percentage of 5-star reviews.

Meet both? Then you’re good. If not? Then, unfortunately, not this year. It’s simple, transparent, and fair for every type of salon.

Between January 1st and September 30th, we will check:

  1. The number of reviews you’ve received: You must achieve a minimum number of reviews. So, ask your customers for feedback — the more, the better.

  2. The percentage of 5-star reviews: It’s not just about quantity, but quality too. We look at how many of your reviews are 5 stars. This is how we reward salons that consistently excel.

There is no application process. If you meet the conditions, you are automatically included. In short, the happier customers with top reviews, the greater your chance of earning the label.

How can I increase my chances of qualifying for the Top Rated?

Focus on these points to increase your chances of receiving the Top Rated quality mark:

  • Get more bookings via Treatwell: More appointments = more chances to shine and get reviews. This applies to Marketplace bookings and appointments you add to your Treatwell calendar yourself.

    • To make these count, ensure you add the customer's email address to your client list for every direct booking (so we can ask them for a review) and use tools like your Booking Widget and the Treatwell Marketplace to grow your client base.

  • Deliver top quality, always: Quality really counts. We look for salons that perform well year-round.

  • Ask your satisfied customers for a review: Just ask! Happy customers are often happy to share their opinion.

  • Keep your Treatwell profile up-to-date: Make sure everything, from your treatments to your photos, is current and shows what you have to offer.


When and how will I hear if I’ve received the Top Rated label?

Top-rated labels are awarded every year in October. If you’ve made it, you’ll receive an email from us.

You don’t need to sign up for anything. If you provide good service, get good reviews, and have enough bookings, you will automatically be included in the selection.
