Salonized gives you the possibility to personalise your micro-site with your own colour theme, image, header title, content, and widgets (such as the booking widget, price list widget, and public feedback widget). What is a micro-site?
The micro-site is a landing page for your business where you can:
Advertise your business
Display your opening hours
Show your services and prices
Display customer reviews
Add your booking widget so customers can book appointments online
Sell gift cards online
It is a good option if you don’t have your own website, but still want to be bookable and findable online. And the best part? It’s free to use with your subscription plan!
You find and manage the micro‑site settings in your Salonized account via Settings > Promote > Micro‑site.
What information is automatically added to my micro-site?
Certain sections of your micro-site are populated automatically based on your existing Salonized account settings:
Business Hours: the opening hours of your salon are pulled from your company timetable (Settings > Company > Timetable).
Services and prices: The services created in Salonized will automatically appear. You can manage these via Settings > Calendar > Services.
Note: Only services that are enabled for online booking will automatically appear on the micro‑site.
Contact Details: Your main business contact details appear at the bottom of the home page. Update this info via Settings > Company > Company information.
How can I customise the design of my micro-site?
You can find and manage the micro-site settings in your account via Settings > Promotion > micro-site. From there, you can customise the following visual elements:
Theme Colour: Choose a theme colour that matches your salon's brand.
Header Title: You can type a custom header title. If left empty, the default text shown will be “Welcome to your company name”.
Header Subtitle: Optionally, choose a Header Subtitle to add a secondary line of text. If left empty, no subtitle will be displayed.
Header Image: Add a header image by clicking Attach file and selecting a photo. If no image is uploaded, a standard stock photo will be shown.
Image ratio: between 1:2 and 1:1.5.
Suggested size range: 1400 × 700 to 1400 × 900 px.
Use horizontal framing for best viewing across devices.
Content: Under 'Content', you have the option to add text, such as a short description of what your business does, a slogan, or any other message. This text appears below the header image. If left empty, no content section will be shown.
How do I manage the widgets on my micro-site?
You can control which interactive elements appear on your page to help drive bookings and engagement:
Booking Widget:
The booking widget button is automatically placed on the micro-site. and can be opened from any page.
This button links directly to your booking flow and cannot be removed.
You can manage the colour of the booking widget independently of your theme via Settings > Online Bookings > Style and Sharing.
Feedback Widget:
The Feedback widget is automatically placed on the micro-site.
You can choose which reviews to display on your micro-site by publishing the review on the Feedback page in your Salonized account.
Gift Cards:
You can add a gift card widget to your micro-site via Settings > Promote > Gift card widget > ‘Show gift cards widget’.
The gift card widget only appears if you have an active online payment setup with Salonized Pay, Mollie or Stripe. You can enable a payment provider on the Integrations page.
What is the domain of my micro-site?
The default domain (URL) of your micro website is www.[your-salon-name].salonized.com.
