What do I need to know about Pay?

What Pay is, where it's available, what it costs and how to get started.

With Pay, you send a payment from the register in the app straight to your card machine. Find out everything you need to know about Pay below.

What is Pay?

Pay connects the register in the app to a card machine. At checkout, you select Pay and the amount appears on the card machine. Your client pays, and the payment is registered in the app automatically.

Where is Pay available?

Pay is available in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Switzerland.

Which plans include Pay?

You need the register to use Pay, so it's included in the Basic and Pro plans. You can't use Pay with the Appointments plan.

What does Pay cost?

Pay has no monthly cost. You pay for two things, both excluding VAT:

  • A fee per transaction. The rate depends on your country. In the United Kingdom, France and Switzerland it also depends on the card: a standard domestic card or a premium card, which is an international or business card.

  • A one-time purchase of your card machine.

Before you sign up, you'll find the rates and card machine prices for your country on the Pay page in the register. Once you use Pay, your transaction fees are on a monthly invoice, which appears on your billing page around the 1st of the month.

Is your card machine defective? Contact our support team. If the technical team confirms the defect, you get a replacement for free.

What are the differences between the card machines?

You can choose between 2 card machines. Both have a touchscreen, are easy to carry around and work on Wi-Fi and 4G.

  • AMS1: without a receipt printer.

  • S1F2: with a built-in receipt printer, so you can hand your client a receipt straight after their treatment.

How long does it take to receive my card machine?

Your card machine arrives within 2–5 business days after your order is completed. You'll receive a track-and-trace link by email.

Can I use my existing card machine with Pay?

No. Pay only works with the card machines you order through the app, the AMS1 or the S1F2. You can't connect a card machine you already have.

Can I use more than one card machine?

Yes. You can order several card machines and use them in different areas of your salon.

Which payment methods can my clients use?

In every country, your clients can pay with:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Maestro

  • American Express

  • Diners Club International

  • Discover

  • Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay
