The Recurring Appointments feature helps you book a series of repeating appointments on your calendar. On this page you'll learn how to book a repeating appointment for services that a client takes periodically.

One click, many appointments

Avoid having to manage manually appointment by appointment for each repetition. The recurring feature is a time saver and also helps you organise your work more effectively. You can modify or delete the appointments in a series just like you do with the one-time appointments.

  • Repeat Weekly on Fridays

  • Repeat every 2 weeks

  • Repeat until: after 4 times

You can choose from the following recurrence patterns:

  1. Daily

  2. Weekly on day x (i.e.: weekly on Friday)

  3. Weekly on selected days (i.e. weekly on Wednesday and Friday)

  4. Monthly on a certain date (i.e. monthly on the 27th

  5. Monthly on a certain day of the week (i.e. montly on the 3rd Saturday)

plus the right recurrence interval (every week, every two weeks, every three weeks, etc.)

Repeat until

Ends:
You can end a repeating appointment in three ways:
a) Never (no end date: repeat forever)
b) By mentioning a specific end date: Select a date from the calendar on which the appointments series ends
c
) By entering maximum number of occurrences: Enter a number after which, appointment should end. For example, if you enter 4, the series of recurring appointments will end after 4 occurrences.

Conflict in Repeating Appointments

Salonized shows conflicts in appointments (for example: double bookings or appointments outside the schedule hours) after adding a new repeating appointment to your calendar. We will check the availability of the next x instances before allowing you to book the appointment. This allows you to control your agenda.

In this version, we'll only show you a list of conflicts. You can't yet take any action in this screen.

Once booked, all appointments in the series will appear on your calendar until the specified end date. Customers will be notified just once for the whole series (rather than once for each appointment in the series), if you have confirmation emails activated. Reminders will go out for each appointment as scheduled.

Once the recurring appointment is booked, the day and time will be no longer available to other clients.
