How do I create and send a newsletter?

Sharing news with your customers via email just got easier. You can now send newsletters directly through Salonized, no extra integrations required. This feature is part of our PRO plan, Salonized’s latest package designed to help your business thrive with powerful new tools.


How do I create a newsletter?

Creating a newsletter has never been easier:

  1. Log in to Salonized.

  2. Click on 'Marketing' (the speaker icon) in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select the ‘Email’ tab from the top bar.

  4. Next to ‘Send a newsletter’, click ‘Create’.


How do I edit the content of my newsletter?

To edit the content of your newsletter:

  • Click on ‘Set up the content’.

  • Click on the toggle to add the logo.

  • To add an image, click on the toggle and upload the desired one.

  • Set the colour for your newsletter.

    • You can use the colour of your booking widget, or

    • Click on ‘Another colour’ and select the desired one.

  • Type the title of your newsletter.

  • Add the message.

Note: The title and message are mandatory fields to send your newsletter to your customers.


How do I add a discount code to my newsletter?

Customers can use a discount code when booking a treatment in the booking widget. Here’s how to add it to your newsletter:

  1. Click the toggle to enable the option.

  2. Under the heading 'Discount code', choose between:

    • Select an existing code, or

    • Create a new one. Read how here.

  3. Add a message for your discount code.

Note: If you changed your mind, you can disable the discount code via the toggle.


How do I add an action button to my newsletter?

An action button is a clear call-to-action that prompts your clients to engage with your salon. Here’s how to add it to your newsletter:

  1. Click the toggle to enable the option.

  2. Add the button title to place an action for your customer (e.g., “Make an appointment”).

  3. Select the button link. You can choose between:

    • Booking widget: this way, your customers can make a new appointment directly from the newsletter.

    • Another Link: paste here the link you want to include in the field

Note: If you changed your mind, you can disable the action button via the toggle.


How do I modify the footer of my newsletter?

The footer is the ending point of your newsletter. By default, we show your company information here, as well as links to your social media accounts.

This information is retrieved from the "Company Information" entered in Salonized. To update it:

  1. Open the ‘Settings’ (the gear icon).

  2. Under ‘Company’, click on ‘Company information’.

  3. Edit your details.

  4. Click ‘Save’ to confirm your changes.

If you do not want to include this information in the newsletter, simply turn off the footer.

Note: The 'Unsubscribe' link will always be displayed in the footer by default. You cannot disable it.


How do I send the newsletter to my customers?

To send the newsletter:

  1. Click on ‘Who is going to receive it

  2. You can choose to send it to all customers or filtered customers:

    • If you select ‘All customers’, the email will be sent to all your customers who have signed up for the newsletter.

    • However, if you choose ‘Filtered customers’, you can send the newsletter to a specific group of customers. Take a look at this article to find out how to use filters to send the newsletter to a targeted audience.

  3. Once ready, click ‘Send’.
